Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of veyrum.com (the "Site"), operated under the name Veyrum ("we", "us"). Veyrum is in the process of establishing a US company; until then the Site is operated under the Veyrum name, and these Terms will be updated to name that entity once it is formed. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. These Terms include a disclaimer of warranties and a limitation of our liability — please read sections 6 and 7.
1. Use of the Site
The Site is provided for general information about Veyrum and its services. You may browse and use it for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the Site — for example, by attempting to breach its security, disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or use it in violation of applicable law.
2. Not professional advice
Content on the Site is for general information and does not constitute engineering, safety, legal, financial, insurance, or other professional advice, and is not a substitute for your own due diligence. Any consulting engagement is governed by a separate written agreement.
3. Ratings and registry
Where the Site presents Veyrum ratings, scores, the Robot Risk Passport, or registry entries, these are independent opinions as described in our Ratings Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms. They are not guarantees, warranties, or recommendations.
4. Insurance and finance introductions
Where Veyrum offers to introduce you to insurers or lenders, Veyrum acts only as an introducer. We do not sell insurance, provide insurance or financial advice, or arrange, negotiate, or become a party to any policy or loan. Any resulting contract is solely between you and the third party, on their terms.
5. Intellectual property
The Site and its content — including text, design, the Veyrum® name and the VRS mark, and the rating methodology — are owned by Veyrum or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse the Site's content, or use the Veyrum marks, without our prior written permission. Use of the marks by rated parties is governed by a separate mark-usage licence.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any information on it is complete or current.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veyrum will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Site or your reliance on any content, whether based in contract, tort, or any other theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites and services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, practices, or policies. Following such links is at your own risk.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Veyrum harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. The specific governing state and venue will be designated when Veyrum's US entity is formed, and these Terms will be updated accordingly. Nothing in this section removes any non-waivable right you may have under the law of your place of residence.
